# ROGMD vs RiseGuide

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ROGMD at none against RiseGuide's 5. ROGMD also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and device support (4 vs 2). RiseGuide's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RiseGuide sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. ROGMD asks for nothing beyond the download.

ROGMD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RiseGuide has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ROGMD ships an update fortnightly, RiseGuide every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
