# Dreaming vs Hivemind

Dreaming and Hivemind both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of Dreaming's written reviews are positive against 30% of Hivemind's. Dreaming also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dreaming sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Hivemind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Dreaming against 4.7 for Hivemind. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dreaming has 208 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of Dreaming's written reviews are positive against 30% of Hivemind's.

Dreaming ships an update every 9 days, Hivemind weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
