# Bally Rewards vs Scratch Better

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bally Rewards at none against Scratch Better's 3. Bally Rewards also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 1). Scratch Better's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scratch Better sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Bally Rewards asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scratch Better holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bally Rewards has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bally Rewards ships an update monthly, Scratch Better weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
