# CamX vs Side Gallery

The clearest difference is ads: CamX at none against Side Gallery's shown. Side Gallery's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CamX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and Side Gallery sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
