# Video Eraser vs UnmarkIt

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UnmarkIt at 100% against Video Eraser's 49%. UnmarkIt also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Video Eraser's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 17). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Eraser sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and UnmarkIt sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UnmarkIt holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Eraser has 1.3K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Video Eraser's written reviews are positive against 100% of UnmarkIt's.

Video Eraser ships an update every 2 weeks, UnmarkIt every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
