# Video Eraser vs BOARD

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Video Eraser at 1.3K against BOARD's 3. Video Eraser also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). BOARD's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Eraser sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and BOARD sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BOARD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Eraser has 1.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Video Eraser ships an update every 2 weeks, BOARD every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
