# VPN proxy vs DexPOINT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DexPOINT at none against VPN proxy's 4. DexPOINT also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). VPN proxy's advantage is ratings volume (8.1K vs 3) and review sentiment (75% vs 59%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN proxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. DexPOINT asks for nothing beyond the download.

DexPOINT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN proxy has 8.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of VPN proxy's written reviews are positive against 59% of DexPOINT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN proxy ships an update every 2 months, DexPOINT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
