# VPN proxy vs MFASOFT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MFASOFT at none against VPN proxy's 4. MFASOFT also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). VPN proxy's advantage is ratings volume (8.1K vs 2) and review sentiment (75% vs 60%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN proxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. MFASOFT asks for nothing beyond the download.

MFASOFT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN proxy has 8.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of VPN proxy's written reviews are positive against 60% of MFASOFT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN proxy ships an update every 2 months, MFASOFT weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
