# Tether Orbit vs Cats are Snake

The clearest difference is rating: Cats are Snake at 5.0 against Tether Orbit's 4.1. Tether Orbit's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tether Orbit sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Cats are Snake sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cats are Snake holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tether Orbit has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
