# ANSWER vs DiaryPal

The clearest difference is update cadence: DiaryPal at every 5 days against ANSWER's every 2 weeks. ANSWER's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ANSWER sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and DiaryPal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ANSWER ships an update every 2 weeks, DiaryPal every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
