# idesktop vs 灵动桌面

The clearest difference is rating: idesktop at 4.7 against 灵动桌面's 3.0. idesktop also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (18 vs 2). 灵动桌面's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. idesktop sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 灵动桌面 sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

idesktop holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: idesktop has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

idesktop ships an update every 9 days, 灵动桌面 every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
