# BactiSee vs E

The clearest difference is rating: BactiSee at 5.0 against E's 4.0. BactiSee also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). E's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (82 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. E sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. BactiSee asks for nothing beyond the download.

BactiSee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E has 82 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BactiSee ships an update every 7 months, E every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
