# Bluetooth Browser vs Modex

The clearest difference is ads: Modex at none against Bluetooth Browser's shown. Modex also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Bluetooth Browser's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluetooth Browser sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Modex sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bluetooth Browser ships an update every 2 days, Modex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
