# Storage Cleaner vs Remote Control for Sky

The clearest difference is ads: Remote Control for Sky at none against Storage Cleaner's shown. Remote Control for Sky also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Storage Cleaner's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 21%) and ratings volume (214 vs 8). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Storage Cleaner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Remote Control for Sky sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote Control for Sky holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Storage Cleaner has 214 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Storage Cleaner's written reviews are positive against 21% of Remote Control for Sky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Storage Cleaner ships an update every 2 weeks, Remote Control for Sky every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
