# MinSec vs HOLD

The clearest difference is ads: MinSec at none against HOLD's shown. HOLD's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MinSec sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and HOLD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MinSec ships an update every 4 days, HOLD every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
