# Bright Ideas vs JustNote

The clearest difference is ratings volume: JustNote at 14 against Bright Ideas's 1. Bright Ideas's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bright Ideas sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and JustNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Bright Ideas against 5.0 for JustNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JustNote has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Bright Ideas's written reviews are positive against 91% of JustNote's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
