# ProMeter vs YanMore Grind

The clearest difference is update cadence: YanMore Grind at every 4 days against ProMeter's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProMeter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and YanMore Grind sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProMeter ships an update every 3 weeks, YanMore Grind every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
