# U Short vs TikShort

The clearest difference is rating: U Short at 5.0 against TikShort's 3.4. U Short also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). TikShort's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 7 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. U Short sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and TikShort sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

U Short ships an update every 7 months, TikShort every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
