# AllConvert vs ScanMate

The clearest difference is rating: ScanMate at 4.6 against AllConvert's 3.5. ScanMate also leads on review sentiment (33% vs 20%). AllConvert's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 12). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AllConvert sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and ScanMate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScanMate holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AllConvert has 1.3K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of AllConvert's written reviews are positive against 33% of ScanMate's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
