# My Shift Planner vs Shift Schedule Pay Calculator

My Shift Planner and Shift Schedule Pay Calculator both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 97% of My Shift Planner's written reviews are positive against 61% of Shift Schedule Pay Calculator's. My Shift Planner also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 13) and device support (3 vs 1). Shift Schedule Pay Calculator's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Shift Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Shift Schedule Pay Calculator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.89 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shift Schedule Pay Calculator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Shift Planner has 3.6K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of My Shift Planner's written reviews are positive against 61% of Shift Schedule Pay Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Shift Planner ships an update monthly, Shift Schedule Pay Calculator every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
