# Verizon Cloud vs Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Verizon Cloud at 4.6 against Widget's 2.3. Verizon Cloud also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (69% vs 38%). Widget's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.4). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Verizon Cloud asks for nothing beyond the download.

Verizon Cloud holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Verizon Cloud has 143K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of Verizon Cloud's written reviews are positive against 38% of Widget's.

Verizon Cloud ships an update monthly, Widget every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
