# SnapSolver vs DP

The clearest difference is ads: DP at none against SnapSolver's shown. DP also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapSolver sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and DP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SnapSolver ships an update every 2 months, DP weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
