# NewWord vs MANA Learn

The clearest difference is rating: NewWord at 5.0 against MANA Learn's 4.3. NewWord also leads on device support (4 vs 2). MANA Learn's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NewWord sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MANA Learn sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NewWord holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of NewWord's written reviews are positive against 100% of MANA Learn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
