# DKM vs App Lock

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: App Lock at none against DKM's 5. App Lock also leads on ratings volume (120 vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DKM sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. App Lock asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for DKM against 4.6 for App Lock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: App Lock has 120 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
