# Voice Over Timer vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is rating: Digital Clock at 4.4 against Voice Over Timer's 3.6. Digital Clock also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 20). Voice Over Timer's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice Over Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Digital Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 1.3K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Voice Over Timer's written reviews are positive against 51% of Digital Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Voice Over Timer ships an update every 3 months, Digital Clock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
