# MDA vs Impulse

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: MDA at 15.0 against Impulse's 18.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MDA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Impulse sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
