# Quick Notes vs Pinning

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Notes at every 4 days against Pinning's every 3 weeks. Quick Notes also leads on ratings volume (295 vs 51). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Pinning sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Quick Notes against 4.7 for Pinning. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Notes has 295 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Quick Notes's written reviews are positive against 75% of Pinning's.

Quick Notes ships an update every 4 days, Pinning every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
