# Quick Notes vs FocusBeats

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Quick Notes at 299 against FocusBeats's 1. Quick Notes also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). FocusBeats's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and FocusBeats sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusBeats holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Notes has 299 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Quick Notes's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusBeats's.

Quick Notes ships an update every 4 days, FocusBeats every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
