# Quick Notes vs To do list

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Quick Notes at 315 against To do list's 7. Quick Notes also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 days) and device support (5 vs 3). To do list's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and To do list sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

To do list holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Notes has 315 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Quick Notes ships an update every 4 days, To do list every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
