# Quick Notes vs 3 Things

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Quick Notes at 306 against 3 Things's 2. Quick Notes also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days) and device support (5 vs 3). 3 Things's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 3 Things sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

3 Things holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Notes has 306 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Quick Notes ships an update every 4 days, 3 Things every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
