# YearRound vs Reminder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Reminder at none against YearRound's 4. Reminder also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YearRound sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Reminder asks for nothing beyond the download.

YearRound ships an update every 6 months, Reminder every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
