# Subscription tracker vs Gold Calculator ￮

The clearest difference is ads: Subscription tracker at none against Gold Calculator ￮'s shown. Subscription tracker also leads on review sentiment (52% vs 40%). Gold Calculator ￮'s advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subscription tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Gold Calculator ￮ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gold Calculator ￮ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 80 and 190 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Subscription tracker's written reviews are positive against 40% of Gold Calculator ￮'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
