# Noteshelf vs ImBRAND

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Noteshelf at 7.2K against ImBRAND's 5. Noteshelf also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). ImBRAND's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 58%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noteshelf sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and ImBRAND sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $29.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noteshelf holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noteshelf has 7.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Noteshelf's written reviews are positive against 67% of ImBRAND's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Noteshelf ships an update every 3 days, ImBRAND every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
