# Noteshelf vs NatureGPT

The clearest difference is ads: Noteshelf at none against NatureGPT's shown. Noteshelf also leads on ratings volume (7.2K vs 12) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). NatureGPT's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noteshelf sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and NatureGPT sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NatureGPT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noteshelf has 7.2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Noteshelf's written reviews are positive against 33% of NatureGPT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Noteshelf ships an update every 3 days, NatureGPT fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
