# Twilight Land vs Big City

The clearest difference is ads: Big City at none against Twilight Land's shown. Twilight Land's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 9 months) and review sentiment (66% vs 46%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twilight Land sells 18 one-off in-app purchases and Big City sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Twilight Land against 4.5 for Big City. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twilight Land has 10K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of Twilight Land's written reviews are positive against 46% of Big City's.

Twilight Land ships an update weekly, Big City every 9 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
