# Lella vs Readgate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Readgate at every 5 days against Lella's every 2 months. Readgate also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lella sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Readgate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
