# Widgle vs Bloons Card Storm

The clearest difference is rating: Bloons Card Storm at 4.6 against Widgle's 3.8. Bloons Card Storm also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Widgle's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 59%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bloons Card Storm sells 30 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bloons Card Storm holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bloons Card Storm has 2.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Widgle's written reviews are positive against 59% of Bloons Card Storm's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widgle ships an update every 5 weeks, Bloons Card Storm every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
