# Widgle vs Cozy Mahjong

The clearest difference is rating: Cozy Mahjong at 4.6 against Widgle's 3.8. Cozy Mahjong also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (301 vs 4). Widgle's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cozy Mahjong sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cozy Mahjong holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cozy Mahjong has 301 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Widgle's written reviews are positive against 86% of Cozy Mahjong's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widgle ships an update every 5 weeks, Cozy Mahjong every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
