# HoLaTeX vs Share2Site

The clearest difference is ads: HoLaTeX at none against Share2Site's shown. Share2Site's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HoLaTeX sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $23.95 per year and Share2Site sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HoLaTeX ships an update every 2 months, Share2Site every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
