# Number Store vs Long Roots

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Long Roots at 100% against Number Store's 8%. Long Roots also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). Number Store's advantage is rating (2.8 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (25 vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Number Store sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Long Roots asks for nothing beyond the download.

Number Store holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Number Store has 25 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Number Store's written reviews are positive against 100% of Long Roots's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Number Store ships an update every 2 weeks, Long Roots daily. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
