# Salt Strong vs Bag Chart

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bag Chart at daily against Salt Strong's weekly. Bag Chart also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Salt Strong's advantage is ratings volume (960 vs 3) and chart position (#66 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Salt Strong sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Bag Chart sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bag Chart holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Salt Strong has 960 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Salt Strong ships an update weekly, Bag Chart daily. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
