# Master It vs Xhorse

The clearest difference is price: Xhorse at Free against Master It's $6.99. Xhorse also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Master It's advantage is review sentiment (76% vs 58%). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Xhorse is free to download; Master It costs $6.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Xhorse holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xhorse has 166 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Master It's written reviews are positive against 58% of Xhorse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
