# TingYue vs Readex

The clearest difference is rating: Readex at 5.0 against TingYue's 4.5. Readex also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 66%). TingYue's advantage is ratings volume (413 vs 5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TingYue sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Readex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
