# OpenLabel vs AiYin

OpenLabel and AiYin both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of AiYin's written reviews are positive against 57% of OpenLabel's. AiYin also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 213). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for OpenLabel against 4.7 for AiYin. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AiYin has 1.3K ratings behind it against 213, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of OpenLabel's written reviews are positive against 83% of AiYin's.

OpenLabel ships an update every 2 weeks, AiYin weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
