# Talented vs Clefs

The clearest difference is rating: Clefs at 5.0 against Talented's 4.2. Clefs also leads on ads (none vs shown). Talented's advantage is ratings volume (55 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talented sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month and Clefs sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clefs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talented has 55 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Talented ships an update every 10 days, Clefs weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
