# SafeTo vs PilotConnect

The clearest difference is rating: SafeTo at 5.0 against PilotConnect's 4.2. SafeTo also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). PilotConnect's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PilotConnect sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. SafeTo asks for nothing beyond the download.

SafeTo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PilotConnect has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SafeTo ships an update every 3 months, PilotConnect weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
