# AnswersAi vs Transcript

AnswersAi and Transcript both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of Transcript's written reviews are positive against 26% of AnswersAi's. Transcript also leads on ads (none vs shown). AnswersAi's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 394). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnswersAi sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Transcript sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for AnswersAi against 4.6 for Transcript. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AnswersAi has 2.2K ratings behind it against 394, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 26% of AnswersAi's written reviews are positive against 76% of Transcript's.

AnswersAi ships an update weekly, Transcript every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
