# Dot vs Choice

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dot at every 2 days against Choice's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dot sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.09 per month and Choice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dot ships an update every 2 days, Choice every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
