# LectMate vs InterpreterX

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LectMate at 690 against InterpreterX's 1. InterpreterX's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LectMate sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and InterpreterX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InterpreterX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LectMate has 690 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LectMate ships an update every 3 weeks, InterpreterX every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
