# Edu Live vs Study Planner

The clearest difference is ads: Edu Live at none against Study Planner's shown. Edu Live also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18). Study Planner's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Edu Live sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Study Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Edu Live ships an update every 4 months, Study Planner every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
